Today I would like to talk about what futurism in fashion is.

First of all, I would like to tell you what futurism is. Futurism (Italian: Futurismo) was an artistic and social movement that originated in Italy in the early 20th century. It emphasized speed, technology, youth, violence, and object such a the car, the airplane, and the industrial city.

And for the futurism of fashion, it was began in Italy as a cutting-edge theory among early 20th century painters and sculptors and evolved into a cultural movement that swept through other art forms, including fashion design. For fashion, Futurism meant fabrics, designs, colors, and cuts that reflected audacity, movement, and speed.

In fashion, futurism is start form 1960s and ANDRÉ COURRÈGES was the father of fashion in space age collection.

At that time, there are some designer are interest in this area too such as PACO RABANNE, MICHÈLE ROSIER, and PIERRE CARDIN.
